ماذا يعني كراهة تنزيه؟

The five categories of legal rulings (al-ahkam at-taklifiyah) are: the obligatory (wajib), the forbidden (muharram), the disliked (makruh), the recommended (masnun), and the permissible (mubah). The disliked (makruh) is that which the Sacred Law has prohibited with a light prohibition, without necessitating its abandonment. One who abstains from it out of obedience to Allah and His Messenger is rewarded, but one who performs it is not punished. An example of this is taking and giving with the left hand. Whoever does so incurs no sin and is not punished, but whoever abstains from it out of obedience to Allah, and takes and gives with the right hand, is rewarded.
