What is the ruling on delaying wearing the hijab due to fear of losing one's job and difficult financial circumstances, or fear of a harsh reaction from one's father?

The basic principle is that a woman remains in her home and does not go out except for a necessity or a need. The hijab (definition) is a religious obligation. The financial support of an unmarried daughter is obligatory upon her father, and he is not permitted to compel her to undertake work that necessitates removing her hijab. If the father does not provide for her, and the girl cannot find work from home, and she reaches a state of necessity, then there is no blame in working outside the home, provided she remains mindful of Allah and assesses the necessity proportionately, returning to the original principle once the necessity is gone. It is advised to strive in seeking a righteous husband who can assist with religious matters and financial support.
