If a woman suckles from a man’s stepmother five or more times during the suckling age, and the milk was produced as a result of his father’s cohabitation, then she is his suckling sister, and he must separate from her immediately without divorce. His children from her are attributed to him due to شبهة ( شبهة: شبهة الوطء: mistaken cohabitation or cohabitation under a misconception). It is forbidden to conceal knowledge of suckling, and the one who commits it is sinful and must repent. The woman is forbidden to her husband and his brothers. However, her brothers and sisters who did not suckle from his stepmother are not forbidden from marrying his brothers and sisters.
