How can I find guidance and steadfastness in the remembrance of Allah and the path to salvation from Hellfire, when Satan turns me away from it?

Guidance is like provision (rizq); whoever strives for it and seeks it will attain it. So, if you desire guidance, tread its path, abandon what contradicts it, and strive against yourself and Satan. You will then find guidance. Allah Almighty says: "As for him who gives and is righteous, and believes in the best, We will surely ease him toward ease." (Quran 92:5-7) And Allah Almighty says: "As for those who strive in Us, We will surely guide them to Our ways." (Quran 29:69)
