What is the ruling concerning one who claims that Abraham (peace be upon him) worshipped planets before his prophethood and certainty?

Abraham, peace be upon him, never associated partners with his Lord and never worshipped the planets. Allah indeed mentioned his distance from polytheism. Prophets, even before their prophethood, are infallible from ignorance of Allah and from doubt concerning Him; they are raised upon monotheism and faith. Commentators have deduced that Abraham's statement, "This is my Lord," was in the context of an argument and condescension with his opponents to establish proof against his people, and not out of contemplation or doubt. Whoever claims that a prophet was upon the religion of his people before he was sent, this is an evil saying.
