Is it permissible for a woman to use her cut hair, which was prepared and processed by men in a workshop, as an extension to increase the density of her hair?

Scholars have agreed on the impermissibility of a woman connecting her hair with other hair, whether it is her own or someone else's, due to the warning mentioned in the hadiths, such as: "May Allah curse the woman who lengthens hair and the woman who has her hair lengthened." The jurists of the Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali schools mentioned the prohibition of this, even if the hair is her own that she had cut, out of respect for human hair and the obligation to bury it after it has been separated. As for the issue of non-mahram men looking at a woman's separated hair, the Hanafis and Shafi'is prohibited it, while the Malikis and Hanbalis permitted it. Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymin chose to prohibit it if the hair belongs to a specific woman known to the man, and to permit it if it belongs to an unspecified woman.
