What is the ruling on seeking refuge from Allah's plotting by saying: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Your plotting"?

Firstly, the supplication "O Allah, scheme for me and do not scheme against me" is preferred because it has been reported from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It is also permissible to say, "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from Your scheming against me," emulating Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, who feared scheming after he was brought the armlets of Chosroes, and he recited: "Do they think that what We extend to them of wealth and sons We hasten to them with good things? Rather, they perceive not."
