Is it correct to attribute the act of naming to the angels by saying, "The angels of the Most Gracious name you," and what is the ruling on that? And what should one who is accustomed to saying it do? And is he considered sinful?

Angels are honored servants who glorify Allah and seek forgiveness for the believers. It has not been reported in the Sharia that angels name anyone; rather, their seeking forgiveness for the believers has been reported. The saying, "May the angels of the Most Merciful name you," is a common phrase that contains no prohibition, as what is intended by it is a prayer for protection and care from Allah for the believer, and this is a righteous objective.
