Is it permissible to supplicate for the return of one's eyesight, sound and healthy, from weakness, or is this considered an act of transgression in supplication?

There is no harm in supplicating for Allah to restore the sight of someone who has lost it, as this is neither impossible nor forbidden by Sharia. This is supported by the story of the blind man among the Children of Israel who wished for Allah to restore his sight, and Allah granted him that, as narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.
