What is the ruling of Islamic law on a woman who removes her hijab?

Displaying oneself adorned (Tabarruj) is an act of disobedience to Allah and His Messenger. It may be a cause for a woman to be deprived of Paradise, and it is among the major sins. It has been coupled with the greatest of major sins in the Prophetic traditions. It incurs curses and expulsion from Allah's mercy. It is a characteristic of the people of Hellfire, and it is considered evil and hypocrisy, leading to darkness on the Day of Resurrection.
