Flies are mentioned in one verse of the Holy Quran, which is verse 73 of Surah Al-Hajj: (O mankind! A parable has been presented, so listen to it. Indeed, those whom you invoke besides Allah could never create [as much as] a fly, even if they were to gather together for it. And if a fly were to steal anything from them, they could not recover it from him. Weak is the pursuer and pursued.)
