Does checking the comments of an old video by a soothsayer to see how accurate her 2020 predictions were invalidate prayers for forty days?

It is not permissible to consult soothsayers. Merely asking them results in the non-acceptance of the questioner's prayers for forty nights. Believing them is an act of disbelief in what was revealed to Muhammad (peace be upon him). Furthermore, reading their words is forbidden, just as reading the books of the People of the Book, books of innovation, and books containing both truth and falsehood is forbidden, due to the corruption they cause to beliefs. Similarly, reading or publishing horoscopes is forbidden due to the polytheism they entail and the manipulation of people's minds. Whoever reads them must repent and seek forgiveness.
