Is a lack of illness an indication of an abundance of sins, and does that mean I am disobedient?
The criterion for Allah's pleasure with a servant is His granting them success in obedience to Him and their performing deeds that are pleasing to Him, not the abundance of calamities or wealth. The believer's entire affair is good for him: if he experiences ease, he gives thanks, and if he experiences hardship, he perseveres. One should thank Allah for well-being by spending blessings in ways that please Him. An abundance of calamities purifies sins, provided the servant does not become discontent.
