What is the ruling on uprooting a fig tree from one's home, and what harm does that entail?

The fig tree is no different from other trees, and it is permissible to remove it from the house without embarrassment or harm, as there is no prohibition against this in the Sunnah of the Prophet or the sayings of the Companions. A Muslim must know that Allah alone brings good deeds and repels evil deeds, and He alone possesses harm and benefit. False beliefs must be avoided.
