Is there a legitimate prohibition in reading books that include phrases such as: "You are time, and there is no time except with You," or "My screams cause the heavens and the earth to crack," or "Peace does not want me to live," or swearing by other than Allah, or cursing time, or saying: "Were it not for so-and-so, such-and-such would not have happened"? And is it permissible for me to read them while rejecting them in my heart? And must I warn those whom I recommend them to?

The mere presence of a problematic religious phrase in a book or novel, such as swearing by other than Allah, does not necessitate prohibiting its reading, as long as there is no fear that it will negatively affect the reader by corrupting their creed or devianting their behavior. If its reading is permissible, then there is no harm in discussing it. The aforementioned phrases, such as "You are time, and there is no time except with you," "My screams shatter the heavens and the earth," and "I want to live in peace, but peace does not want me to live," can be interpreted with meanings that are not religiously prohibited; there is no explicit phrase within them that contravenes the Sharia.
