What is the ruling on one who broke his oath four times by masturbating and watching pornographic films, with a two-month period between the oaths, and what is required of him if he is unemployed and possesses 2000 Riyals?

It has been previously explained that masturbation and watching obscene films are forbidden, and one must repent from them. Breaking an oath not to return to them, after having made such an oath, is considered a violation. The preponderant opinion is that a single expiation is required for all repeated oaths concerning the same matter. This expiation consists of feeding ten poor people, clothing them, or freeing a slave. If one cannot find these, then fasting for three days. There is no expiation for an oath that includes an exception such as "God willing" or similar phrases.
