Does the ḥadīth of Abu Hurayrah with Satan—in which Satan informed him that whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi will not have Satan spend the night in his house—serve as evidence for the obligation of accepting advice from any creature, and that the lesson lies in the advice itself, not in the one who gives it?

Counsel should be accepted from anyone, for wisdom is the believer's lost property, and rejecting the truth is arrogance. Scholars have mentioned that a person should listen and benefit from the available advantages, then reflect on their validity and verify them. An example of this is Abu Hurairah, who learned from the lying thief and presented the matter to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. The people of knowledge advised students of Hadith to record what they hear and then verify it.
