Is it permissible to work in restaurants that serve pork in the same city, or in a grocery store that sells lottery tickets in another city, taking into account the difficult working conditions in both places?

A Muslim is not permitted to sell forbidden items such as alcohol, pork, and lottery tickets, even if the buyer is a non-Muslim, because doing so constitutes participation in sin. A Muslim should seek lawful employment. If one resides in a non-Muslim country, one should review the ruling on residing there. Remember that Taqwa (definition) (God-consciousness) brings sustenance, provides a way out of difficulties, and expiates sins.
