What is the ruling on daughters refusing to relinquish to their brothers the houses that their father wanted them to give up, while he distributes his money only to the males and threatens and intimidates them, and they are in need of money?

The preponderant view, in our opinion, is that justice between children in gifts and endowments is obligatory, by giving the male the equivalent of the female. However, if one of them has a special need that necessitates favoring them to the extent of their need, then that is permissible; otherwise, the parent would be unjust.

It is not permissible to waive something that the waiving party does not own, just as a bequest to males is not valid unless approved by the adult, mature heirs.
