Is supplication (du'a) a form of seeking assistance (isti'anah) or an act of worship ('ibadah), and is seeking assistance from Allah an act of worship, and what is the meaning of "O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You well"?

Supplication is the foundation of worship. Seeking Allah's help falls under the meaning of worship because worship is a comprehensive term for all that Allah loves and approves of, including inner and outer sayings and deeds. Thus, supplicating to Allah, the Almighty, is considered seeking His help and worshipping Him. As for the mentioned supplication: "O Allah, help me to remember You, to thank You, and to worship You in the best manner," it encompasses the good of this world and the Hereafter. It teaches the Ummah to seek assistance from Allah the Almighty. Assistance was sought for it because it is very difficult, and it includes all the good of this world and the Hereafter.
