As for the websites that offer these competitions, it is permissible to access them and participate in them if the competition is lawful, and the presence of a lottery does not affect its ruling. As for subscribing to the internet for general use, without the subscription being for the purpose of profit-making competitions, it is permissible and not considered gambling. However, if the motive for subscribing is to profit from competitions, then the amount paid for the subscription is not permissible, regardless of the type of competition.
