If a Muslim is unable to perform Maghrib prayer at its prescribed time because its time has expired before his arrival, and he cannot stop the bus for prayer, it is permissible for him to pray it on board the bus, facing the Qiblah as much as possible, and performing the pillars and conditions of the prayer to the best of his ability. He should perform ablution before boarding the bus. Then, he should repeat the Maghrib prayer after arriving home, because he may not have been able to perform the prayer correctly on the bus. If he arrives before the Adhan of Ishaa, he is not permitted to pray Ishaa before its time. The Hanbalis permit combining prayers due to need.
