Is it permissible to use misleading or false headlines online to attract viewers to religious content, such as writing "Watch the most powerful sexual film on YouTube" for a video about the torment of the grave, or "Whoever watches this video will know that the Day of Judgment has approached" for a video about the Day of Judgment?

Calling to Allah is a noble aim, but lying is not characteristic of a believer, and its ugliness increases if it is used as a means of da'wah (inviting to Islam). Therefore, it is not permissible to write the phrase "Watch the most powerful pornographic film" because it is an explicit lie and may lead to mockery of the religion. As for the phrase "Whoever watches this video will know that the Hour has drawn near" and similar expressions, it is neither a lie nor forbidden, because the scriptural reports and signs indicate the proximity of the Hour. Allah Almighty said: "The Hour has drawn near, and the moon has split." And the Prophet (peace be upon him) mentioned signs indicating its proximity.
