The answer

The fast is broken by intentionally introducing anything into the body cavity while remembering one is fasting. However, if something reaches the body cavity without the fasting person's choice, it does not break the fast, such as road dust or dust from sifting flour reaching it unintentionally. Therefore, there is no compensatory fast (qada') required for someone into whose body cavity something entered unintentionally, though it is obligatory to take precautions to prevent anything from reaching the throat as much as possible.
