It is best and most virtuous for a believing woman to emulate the Mothers of the Believers in covering the face and hands, because Allah Almighty specifically enjoined this upon them, and nothing of them should be visible except out of necessity. The Companions and those who came after them differed on some matters of religion due to differing interpretations, understandings, the emergence of new issues, and the cessation of revelation. Not all of this disagreement is blameworthy. We convey glad tidings of immense reward to whoever wears the hijab and covers her face and hands in this era.
