How can one get rid of the problem of masturbation that occurs through imagination and sexual thoughts leading to ejaculation, which causes insomnia and disturbs daily and academic life, despite attempts to stay away from provocations and sins?

The fatwa stated that abandoning masturbation by hand and prohibited images is commendable, and that fasting is a means to reduce lust, especially if it is continuous. It emphasized the importance of making the feeling of hypocrisy a motive to control thoughts of lust, while adhering to supplication to Allah with the well-known du'a: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing..." It also linked the fatwa between sincerity and averting immorality, citing the story of Prophet Yusuf (peace be upon him), and indicated that Allah marvels at a youth who does not incline towards whims. It mentioned that little sleep coupled with avoiding disobedience is better than much sleep coupled with committing it.
