Is it authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) or any of his Companions supplicated at the Multazam during Umrah?

The hadiths concerning the commitment to the Multazam and supplicating there have been weakened, but some scholars have deemed them good due to their collective strength. There are narrations from the Companions and the Tabi'in, including Ibn Abbas and Mujahid, that indicate its permissibility.

Scholars have reached a consensus on its permissibility, among them Ibn Taymiyyah, Al-Shafi'i, and Al-Kasani.

Therefore, commitment to the Multazam is permissible, as long as it does not involve harm or hardship.
