What is the final time for performing the ‘Ishā’ prayer?

The time for the Isha prayer begins with the disappearance of the red twilight. Some exegetes have mentioned that the Almighty’s saying: (So glory be to Allah when you enter the evening) refers to the Maghrib and Isha prayers. It is better to delay the Isha prayer from its early time if it does not cause hardship, as narrated from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "Were it not that I would overburden my Ummah, I would have commanded them to delay the Isha prayer until one-third of the night or half of it." Delaying it is recommended for those who are not overcome by sleep and for whom it does not cause hardship for the congregants, while performing the prayer in congregation is obligatory unless there is an excuse.
