What is the ruling of the Sharia on continuing a marriage to a wife whose divorce is demanded by the father for personal reasons, knowing that the father is angry and refuses the continuation of this marriage, to the extent that he has severed ties with his son?

You are not obligated to divorce your wife to fulfill your father's wish, nor should you do so. If he becomes angry, there is no sin upon you. We advise you to try to convince him, maintain good companionship with him, and uphold ties of kinship with your self and your wealth. Divorce is not an act of righteousness, especially given your wife's religiosity and good character. Retain your wife and fulfill her rights, and maintain good companionship with your father and do not abandon him, even if he asks you to do so. Be patient and supplicate to Allah.
