Is the business of calves, conducted through immediate buying and selling in the market without caring for them, Haram (religiously forbidden) according to Sharia, and what is the reason for its prohibition?

For the sale of calves to be permissible, it is not necessary to transport them to the house. Rather, it suffices to take possession of them from the first seller and move them to a place not exclusively owned by the seller. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade the sale of food before taking possession of it, and scholars analogized other commodities to it. For a calf, taking possession is achieved by receiving it from the seller and walking it to a place not exclusively owned by the seller. The taking of possession of livestock is achieved by moving them from their place or transporting them to a place not exclusively owned by the seller.
