Is it permissible, from a Sharia perspective, to take the price difference (100 EGP) given that the purchase price of the land was reduced from 1150 EGP (the amount my father was prepared to pay) to 1050 EGP, with my father's knowledge and consent, and without me being an intermediary in handing over the amount?

If your father tells you: "I am absolving myself of 1150 pounds and you are the one to provide it for me," then if you purchase it for him for 1050 pounds, the extra hundred is yours, and this is permissible brokerage.
