What is the ruling on working in the field of receiving and directing customer orders—including cigarettes and shisha molasses—and distributing them to delivery representatives?

Working in assistance with the sale of permissible goods is not problematic. However, assisting in the sale of prohibited items, such as cigarettes and shisha molasses, is forbidden, as Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." Accordingly, working is forbidden if it necessitates receiving orders for prohibited goods and cannot be avoided. But if it is possible to restrict oneself to permissible goods, then there is no harm in it.
