There is no objection to undertaking procedures for establishing lineage to the Household of the Prophet (Ahl al-Bayt) if its authenticity is confirmed, as this holds future benefit for the children. It is permissible to utilize the privileges granted to the Household of the Prophet by official authorities, and they have the right to one-fifth of the spoils of war.
