Is it permissible to give charity on behalf of the deceased to needy relatives, such as paternal siblings, knowing that they are children and in need of money?

The arrival of the reward of charity to the deceased is not a matter of dispute among scholars. Charity given to relatives is greater in reward and merit, due to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, saying: "Charity given to a poor person is charity, and to a relative it is two: charity and kinship ties."

Therefore, giving charity to your siblings and donating its reward to your mother will benefit her, and it is hoped that it will be a greater reward for her.
