Is it permissible for a husband to assist his wife in washing their daughter, provided he ensures not to see her 'awrah (private parts)?

There is no harm in a man helping to clean a baby girl and touching or looking at her private parts, as long as she is not old enough for marriage and he does not feel any lust from doing so. Jurists have explicitly stated the permissibility of a non- washing a baby girl.
