Will God accept my repentance after committing a recurring sin and feeling His wrath, and will He answer my supplication even though my repentance is sincere? And does the saying of Allah Almighty apply to me: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful'"?

Be joyful with Allah's repentance, forgiveness, and pardon. Have a good opinion of Him, Glorified be He, for no matter how great your sin, Allah's pardon is greater and His mercy is vaster. You are included in His saying, Exalted be He: "Say, 'O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.'" If your repentance is sincere and fulfills its conditions, Allah will erase the effect of the sin, and "the one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin." Continue to seek forgiveness and perform good deeds that expiate sins. Be patient and content with Allah's decree if any harm befalls you.
