ما هي المعايير الشرعية لتحديد جمال الفتاة التي يجب عليها تغطية وجهها بالنقاب، وهل يكفي إخبار النساء لها بذلك؟

A Muslim woman who believes that covering the face is not obligatory should observe the following:

1. Her opinion must be based on a strong presumption that it is the truth, by following a scholar whose knowledge she trusts, while being careful not to follow her desires. 2. To safeguard her religion by covering her face if there is no hardship, thus avoiding disagreement and seeking the virtue of modesty. 3. If she uncovers her face, this should not lead to temptation for her or for onlookers, by considering what might cause temptation, such as beauty or corrupting men. 4. She should not intend by revealing her face to display herself or her beauty, or to apply adornment that contradicts the wisdom of the hijab.
