The answer

The employee is trustworthy concerning their work, accounts, and funds. They are not held accountable for an error unless it stems from their negligence or transgression. If their error results in a loss for the company due to their negligence or transgression, then they are obligated to compensate for that loss.

Regarding the method to rectify the defect: If an employee owes a sum to the company due to negligence or transgression, the original principle is to return the amount to the account from which it decreased in the treasury, even without the company's knowledge; because "the hand is responsible for what it takes until it returns it." It is not permissible to purchase supplies for the company using its money without its knowledge and permission.
