Please, I would like a small brief about Imam Abu Hanifa.

Imam Abu Hanifa al-Nu'man ibn Thabit al-Kufi was born in the 80th year of the Hijra and met some of the Companions. He acquired his knowledge of fiqh from Hammad ibn Sulaiman, and among his most prominent students were Abu Yusuf and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Shaybani. He passed away in Baghdad in the year 150 AH, and among his works is "Al-Fiqh al-Akbar." He was trustworthy, ascetic, and pious, and he refused to assume the position of judiciary under al-Mansur.
