ما هي الدروشة؟

"Darwasha" is derived from "darwish," meaning "one who knocks on doors begging" (a beggar), and is used to refer to a member of Sufi orders. Sufi orders are often innovative (bid'ah) and contain superstitions and false beliefs that may reach the level of disbelief (kufr), such as believing that a saint can benefit or harm without Allah, or seeking help from them, or making vows to them. As for asceticism (zuhd) in worldly matters, coupled with sound belief free from innovations and superstitions, it is a praiseworthy path, as was the case with Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jilani, may Allah have mercy on him.
