Is swearing and vowing not to rely on anyone other than Allah considered major shirk, even if the veneration of someone other than Allah does not reach the veneration of Allah?

Whispers [of doubt] are from the stratagems of Satan, and reliance [upon God] is an innate act of worship. A Muslim knows that Allah the Almighty is the Owner of the heavens and the earth, and nothing happens except by His command and permission. He alone brings good and repels harm, and causes have no effect except by Allah's power and decree, as confirmed by His saying, "And if Allah should touch you with adversity, there is no remover of it except Him; and if He intends for you good, there is no repeller of His bounty. He causes it to reach whom He wills of His servants. And He is the Forgiving, the Merciful" (Yunus: 107). And His saying, "And they cannot harm them at all except by permission of Allah. And upon Allah let the believers rely" (Al-Mujadilah: 10). And His saying, "No disaster strikes except by permission of Allah. And whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart. And Allah is Knowing of all things" (At-Taghabun: 11). Therefore, one must turn away from whispers and not be carried away by them, for they are a severe illness that leads to confusion, doubt, and distress. Just as it is necessary to beware of shirk (polytheism), one should not indulge in excessive whispering and accuse oneself of shirk for every action.
