It is not permissible to deposit money in a usurious bank, as this constitutes aiding in sin. The amount must be withdrawn, and the interest disposed of by spending it on general Muslim welfare or giving it as charity to the poor. It is permissible to give the interest to a husband if he is poor and in need of building a dwelling; otherwise, it is not permissible, because there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. Unlawful money must be spent on the general welfare of Muslims or given to the poor. It is not permissible to hand it over to someone who is not trustworthy, and whoever acquires unlawful money guarantees it if they spend it on a party other than the rightful recipient.
