Which is better for the pre-dawn hours: Tasbeeh or Istighfar, and should other forms of remembrance be abandoned on Friday to increase prayers upon the Prophet?

On Friday, it is best to send abundant prayers upon the Prophet. Tasbih (glorification of Allah) should be performed before sunrise and sunset. As for seeking forgiveness (istighfar), it is recommended to do so abundantly during the pre-dawn hours (sahar). Regarding other remembrances (adhkar) such as "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (There is no might or power except with Allah), "Hasbi Allah wa ni'mal wakeel" (Allah is sufficient for me, and He is the best Disposer of affairs), and "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un" (Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we shall return), there is no harm in reciting them at any time, even though each of them has a specific occasion mentioned in the sacred texts.
