What would you say about a young man who was observant of his religion and obedient, then relapsed and abandoned memorizing the Qur’an and praying in the mosque, and began to engage in bad habits and suffer from sadness and introversion? How can he be advised and brought back to the path of righteousness?

The young man is advised to supplicate profusely for himself for repentance and guidance, and to be sincere with Allah the Almighty. He is warned against feeling secure from the stratagems of Allah and sudden death. He must seek the reason that led him to disobedience and offer sincere repentance from all abominations, especially neglecting prayer. He should also know that watching pornographic films opens the door to temptation. He must get married to protect his chastity, or fast if marriage is not possible, along with keeping company with righteous people and engaging in sports.
