Is wearing agate stones part of the Sunnah?

There are hadiths and narrations regarding the virtue of wearing an agate stone or setting it as a ring's bezel, but they are weak or fabricated. Among them is what Al-Tabarani narrated from Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, concerning agate: "(Indeed, whoever wears an agate ring, only that which is most fortunate will be decreed for him)," which is fabricated. Also among them is what was narrated from Fatimah, may Allah be pleased with her: "(Whoever wears an agate ring will continuously see good)," which is fabricated. The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta' has issued a fatwa stating that no hadith about the virtue of rings and the aforementioned stones or their properties is authentically attributed to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. It is not permissible to believe in any virtue for them or to credit superstitions about them, nor is it permissible to rely on the book "Al-Mustatraf" in matters of knowledge and religion.
