Is what the girl's father did considered injustice, perjury, and coercion that led to the wrongful dissolution of the marriage, and is it permissible to pray for success in marrying her?

The guardian of a girl should not reject a suitor who is committed to religious principles (shar‘an), for religion and character are the most important qualities to consider in a suitor, and marrying such a person is a highly emphasized recommendation. If a girl has been proposed to and both parties have agreed, it is obligatory to avoid her, and it is not permissible to supplicate for Allah to make her his wife, as this constitutes aggression and spoils the engagement. If she has committed a sin, she must repent and conceal it, and she may use equivocation (tawriya). However, if the engagement has not been approved, there is no harm in supplicating to marry her if she is religious, and in attempting again to convince her guardian; otherwise, seek someone else.
