Is the disruption of a girl's marriage linked to divine decree and destiny, or is it a result of a sin she committed?

Belief in divine decree, both good and bad, is one of the fundamentals of faith. Everything in the universe is by God's decree, and marriage—its advancement, delay, ease, and difficulty—all are by God's decree. Calamities are good for the believer if they endure with patience and hope for reward, as they may be for raising ranks or expiating sins, or they may be a punishment for disobedience. And whoever leaves something for the sake of God, God will compensate them with something better. Therefore, the believing woman should turn to God with supplication and acts of worship, and not despair, for God will compensate her with something better.
