Is a man's promise to marry a woman, and her reliance on this promise and building her life upon it, then his breaking of the promise after she stood by him through his problems, considered a lie?

A woman should not be deceived by some men's promises of marriage, as this might cause her to miss many opportunities and lead her to cling to an illusion. These problems arise from weak faith and lack of knowledge, for it is not permissible for a woman to establish a relationship with a man who is a stranger to her. She must repent and regret her companionship with this man, stop thinking about him, and ask Allah to grant her a righteous husband who comes to her guardian seeking her hand.
