What is the ruling on listening to religious songs sung by female vocalists like Yasmine El Khayam?

It is forbidden, according to scholars, to take pleasure in the voice of an adult foreign (non-mahram) woman. Therefore, it is not permissible for her to soften her voice for men, nor for men to listen to the singing of female singers for fear of temptation. This is a form of the forbidden fornication of the ear. If the singing is accompanied by music, that constitutes another prohibition.
