Is it obligatory to fast and pray with the discharge of brown secretions that increase until their color becomes dark red, then return to brown, and continue to be discharged sometimes and stop at other times?

It is permissible to use medication to induce menstruation if the purpose is legitimate and the medication is permissible, such as accelerating menstruation due to the approach of Ramadan, or for any other legitimate reason. However, it is not permissible to induce an abortion or to break the fast in Ramadan. Menstruation resulting from pills is considered menses if it occurs at its natural time, or if it was delayed beyond its time due to an illness and treated with medication. Brown discharge (al-kudrah) is considered menses if it occurs during the time of menstruation. If blood or discharge continues for more than fifteen days, anything beyond that is considered irregular bleeding (dam fasad) and istihada (non-menstrual bleeding). If the bleeding stops after the usual period of menstruation and returns before fifteen days, it is istihada. However, if it stops before the completion of the usual menstrual period, scholars have differed on its ruling.
